Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Momentum Beacon handles information when you visit the site, contact us, and use member features as they become available.
1. Information we collect
When you visit the site, hosting and security systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, and approximate time of access. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, selected topic, message, and submission time in a private support inbox to respond to you.
Member accounts collect the information needed for sign-in and research access. Beacon’s general and Market Flows chats are hosted on Discord, where participants use their Discord accounts. When paid checkout opens, we may also receive subscription and transaction status and limited billing details; a payment processor, rather than the Beacon website, will handle payment-card entry. Paid checkout is not yet enabled.
2. How we use information
- Provide the site and, when enabled, accounts, subscriptions, research access, and member features.
- Process and confirm payments, manage renewals and cancellations, and respond to support requests.
- Protect accounts, investigate misuse, maintain site security, and meet legal obligations.
- Send service messages and, if you sign up for them, research or marketing emails. Marketing messages will include a way to unsubscribe.
3. Service providers and sharing
We may share information with providers that host the site, operate authentication, process payments, deliver email, or provide support, only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Posts in Beacon’s Discord chat rooms may be visible to other members in those rooms. Avoid posting private financial or personal information there.
4. Cookies and similar technology
Hosting and security services may use cookies or similar technology to operate and protect the site. Future account and payment features may use cookies needed for login and checkout. If we add analytics or advertising technology, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law before using it.
5. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, keep required business and transaction records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable measures intended to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. When account tools are available, you may use them to update account details and manage your subscription. You can use the contact page to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion. Some records may need to be retained under applicable law.
7. Children, external sites, and changes
Momentum Beacon is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. External sites linked from Beacon have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as features and providers change; the effective date above will show the latest revision. We will give additional notice when required by law.
8. Contact
Use the Beacon contact page to send us a message.
